General Sales Manager - Donford Motorrad Cape Town

Objective of the Role: 

The incumbent will take responsibility for achieving the sales and revenue goals for new and used bikes - acting as an energetic role model to the team, a passionate advocate of the brand and a senior representative of the retailer. Your leadership will ensure customers enjoy positive, memorable experiences every time they visit your site or interact with your sales team. You will also oversee sales processes, activities, and target setting, as well as initiating marketing activities and taking care of operational management.

High-Level Responsibilities:

Achieving Sales Targets:
The primary goal is to consistently meet or exceed sales targets for BMW Motorrad motorcycles and accessories.
Team Leadership:
Motivate, coach, and develop the sales team, ensuring they are equipped with the skills and knowledge to succeed.
Customer Relations:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, both existing and potential, to foster loyalty and drive repeat business.
Sales Processes:
Oversee and optimize the sales process and lead management to ensure efficient and effective sales operations.
Market Knowledge:
Stay current with market trends, competitor activity, and BMW Motorrad product offerings.
Financial Services:
Promote and manage retail financing and insurance sales to increase profitability.
Marketing:
Support marketing initiatives and campaigns to drive sales and build brand awareness.
Dealer Relations:
Manage relationships with BMW Group dealers, especially regarding Commercial Financing and sales operations.
